Renée received her Doctor of Chinese Medicine from the Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego, CA. With a focus in orthopedic acupuncture, and also a specialization in microneedling and cosmetic facial acupuncture. She is trained in the Toma Microneedling and Acuglow system, and also trained in the Acumicro technique with Josh Nerenburg, L.Ac. She is extremely impressed with the results that can be done in a prescribed series of treatments, with these non-invasive and safe techniques. Not only for a better appearance, but to treat hair loss, the effects of sun damage and scarring.
Renée has had the privilege of studying under renowned practitioners Dr. Uzi Chen, Ryan Lee, and Melinda Williams. Her education was further enriched by the teachings of Matt Callison of Acupuncture Sports Medicine. She honed her skills in cupping, motor point acupuncture, and postural alignment at the renowned clinic Acusport Health Center in Ocean Beach, CA under the tutelage of Yael Benporat and Aquilino Soriano. Renée specializes in these techniques and enjoys integrating them to optimize patient outcomes. She believes in a holistic approach that emphasizes the body’s innate organizational intelligence and regenerative resilience.
Originally from Massachusetts, Renée began her career in Art Conservation and Restoration, holding an undergraduate degree in Art History and Chemistry. She appreciates the intersection of art and science, finding a powerful connection between the intricate workings of the human body and the beauty of nature. She finds that Chinese Medicine is a beautiful and elegant expression of this connection.
